Have you ever had a day, maybe even a week, or perhaps even a month of feeling overwhelmed, confused and working in a lower vibration than usual?
I’ve got to be honest, procrastination and overwhelm was my LIFE story last week and I struggled to find a place that enabled me to work in a higher vibration and get stuff done.
My life, room, wardrobe & car was FULL of clutter and had been for weeks beforehand. I was entirely aware of it but had made the decision that my life was far too ‘busy’ to make de-cluttering a priority, and so I left it to continue to build all around me.
“ As above…. so below.”
What I didn’t see happening was the psychological burden this ‘clutter’ was causing me and how that was negatively affecting my ability to be productive and achieve. Trust me, if you are living in clutter, keeping clothes that you hold onto the illusion of ‘one day,’ fitting into and don’t take the time to remove, your work and life WILL be negatively impacted.
It is so important to be aware of the environment we allow ourselves to be surrounded by on the outside. Subconsciously this will become a reflection of our perceptions on the inside.
If we live in clutter, our minds become cluttered, and we end up working in a lower vibration causing ourselves to procrastinate on what would normally be simple tasks.
I gave myself one day to fully immerse myself in the decluttering mission and put everything else on my to-do list to one side for another day. Four bin bags later and peace, productivity and higher vibrations were brought back into my life!
Amen to that!
It has made such a difference in my ability to get stuff done, be productive and be confident that I needed to share this with women around the world.
So my plea to you is to schedule the time to de-clutter (no matter how big or small) and remove what no longer serves you. It’s also a great idea to spend a day doing those annoying little jobs you keep meaning to do and get them over and out. This will free so much headspace for higher priority tasks. You need to commit to making the time to switch off from the to-do list and focus on de-cluttering your space and the jobs that have been pulling you down.
Everything that you keep around you will affect your energy so never underestimate the power of letting go of the things that no longer serve you.
It’s an unchallenging and straightforward task, but does require focus, honesty and, on occasions and a bit of ruthlessness ( especially if you like to hoard past possessions).

- It empowers you to let go of the past and make room for the new.
- It removes the stress of a chaotic, cluttered environment which often causes anxiety, fear, and feelings of guilt.
- It stops you from procrastinating and helps you focus in an orderly environment.
- Your mind will learn to focus more effectively with limited, if any, distractions of untidiness around you.
- Instead of cleaning around things that don’t serve you, you will have more time to spend it doing what you love with the people you love.
- The ‘Domino Effect’ – Decluttering can improve relationships and all other aspects of your life as you become an organised superwoman.
So I invite you to make decluttering a priority for your week and see how you can reach your highest heights of peace, happiness, and success.
